Cookie Policy

Last updated: 1 June 2026

This Cookie Policy explains how Aitaky SRL ("TakyRace") uses cookies and similar technologies on the TakyRace platform. It complements our Privacy Policy.

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files stored on your device. Similar technologies include local storage, pixels, and SDKs embedded by third-party content. We group them by purpose below.

2. Categories we use

2.1 Strictly necessary (always on)

These are required for the Service to function and are exempt from consent under the ePrivacy Directive / Art. 122 of the Italian Codice Privacy.

Cookie / itemPurposeDuration
Authentication / session token (Supabase)Keep you signed in; secure the sessionUp to 30 days (token refreshes hourly)
Security / CSRF tokenProtect against cross-site request forgerySession

2.2 Functional

These remember your preferences or carry out an action you requested. They are first-party only and do not track you across sites.

  • Language preference (i18n_redirected) — remembers your choice of English or Italian, up to 12 months.
  • Pending invite tokens (local storage) — temporarily hold an invite link so it survives sign-up / login, removed as soon as the invite is processed.

2.3 Analytics / performance (consent-based)

TakyRace does not currently use third-party analytics. We plan to introduce analytics in the future; when enabled, they will load only after you consent, be listed below, and any transfer to the United States will be covered by Standard Contractual Clauses.

SourceStatusNotes
Google Analytics (Google LLC, US)Planned — not yet activeConsent-gated; US transfer under SCCs
Other analytics toolsPossible — to be determinedAdded here, consent-gated, before activation

2.4 Third-party content / embeds (consent-based)

Incident videos hosted on YouTube (Google LLC), Vimeo (Vimeo Inc.) or Twitch (Amazon) are embedded in the player and set third-party cookies on load. They are loaded only after your consent (click-to-load), and any transfer to the United States is covered by Standard Contractual Clauses. Self-hosted uploads are not affected.

We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

3. Managing your consent

  • On your first visit a consent banner lets you Accept all, Reject all (non-essential), or Customise by category.
  • You can change or withdraw consent at any time via the "Cookie settings" link in the footer.
  • Refusing non-essential cookies does not prevent you from using the core Service; some optional content (e.g. embedded videos) may not load until you consent.

4. Browser controls

You can also block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Doing so may affect how the Service works (for example, you may be signed out).

5. Changes

We may update this Cookie Policy as our use of cookies evolves. The "Last updated" date reflects the current version.
